Join an Innovative Company with a Dynamic Culture!
Our company prides itself on a culture of teamwork and camaraderie. Our primary goal is to attract and retain long-term employees with a friendly work environment, quality products, and challenging work. Advanced Business Integrators, Inc. (ABI) has always loved the challenge of automating monumental manual tasks, hence our motto “Managing the Unmanageable”.
ABI MasterMind® is the World’s Premier Workforce Management Solution
ABI MasterMind® serves over 900 of the most well-known venues in North America. ABI’s dynamic environment breeds a feeling of “family” that appreciates values and collaboration.
ABI’s founder has deep roots in technology, including financial accounting, payroll, HRIS, and computer networking. Over 25 years ago, ABI’s founder addressed the need for more efficient technology and oversaw the team that built an amazing product to automate a highly seasonal and variable workforce for a Major League Baseball stadium.
Today, ABI is the premier company in the public assembly workforce management industry, servicing a highly loyal customer base. We listen closely to our clients and continuously strive to improve our interactions and products; we live by the mantra “Hug the Customer”.
THE OPPORTUNITY
ABI is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and passionate Systems Administrator to join our Technical Services department. The Systems Administrator will support the existing operations and help lay our future foundation.
The Systems Administrator must demonstrate an appetite for technology and is expected to be proficient in a wide range of network, server, and storage technologies. We work to maintain a dynamic team where each member is an equal contributor. We expect our engineers to be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven to leave everything they touch better than they found it. There is always a lot of ground to cover, and there’s no room for people just along for the ride! Your success will depend on your ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people, collaborate with other team members, and solve problems thoughtfully and comprehensively. You will be expected to manage your time and projects with minimal direction and to document your work and solutions. While the majority of this position is technical and behind the scenes, it also involves a direct support element, both internally and externally. ABI’s reputation is built on going above and beyond expectations, and we have a very firm “all hands on deck” mentality when our customers need assistance. Maintaining an approachable and professional demeanor is critical at all times.
We are in a period of transition – historically Windows-centric but incorporating an increasing amount of FOSS technology. The right candidate will have a varied background and be “technologically flexible.” If you are the type of person who can show up to an empty server room on Friday and emerge Sunday night with a web server backed by a database on a highly available SAN, we’d love to talk to you.
OUR EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS SHOW HOW MUCH WE VALUE OUR TEAM!
RESPONSIBILITIES
We are a small company with an evolving landscape. Although job duties are somewhat fluid, below is a list of key responsibilities:
